David George

David has written several dozen short stories and poems exploring the ironies he experienced during his 30-year high tech career, and his encounters with the wildlife of semi-rural California. His writing has been published in local newspapers, periodicals, and Grandparent Magazine. He has won several awards, including First Place in the Jack London Writing Contest. David is a monthly columnist for a neighborhood newspaper. His column delves into eco-friendly, all-natural gardening techniques.

David’s debut book, Granddad’s Garden: Stories of the Natural World is available now at Amazon.com. He is writing two more books, a novel based on his Irish ancestral roots, and Book 2 of Granddad’s Garden, which explores growing up in today’s world, and how the natural world can impart great wisdom.
